Marcus S. Grant is a professional composer, trumpeter, teacher, clinician, producer, and content creator from Virginia. He is the Co-founder and Director of the Trumpeter’s Multi-Track Competition and Seminar, a National Trumpet Competition judge, and contributes compositions and arrangements as a Signature Artist with the world's leading digital sheet music retailer, Musicnotes.com. Mr. Grant received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014 - where he studied with Rex Richardson - and graduated from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music in 2016 with a Master of Music Degree in Trumpet Performance - where he studied with Joey Tartell. Marcus believes passionately in the promotion and enrichment of quality music education for young people, holding the philosophy that everyone deserves the best experiences in education, and that music is an essential element of those experiences. His professional affiliations have included the International Trumpet Guild (ITG), National Band Association (NBA), Music Teacher's National Association (MTNA), International Thespian Society (ITS), and Kappa Kappa Psi National Band Service Fraternity.
