This is a very large level 2 trauma center and county facility located in the largest county in California. There I functioned as a Emergency Medicine PA working with patients of all ages. I treated cases that ranged from blunt trauma and GSW management to medication refills and medical management everything in between. Sepsis, gangrene, pyelonephritis, fracture reduction and removal of foreign bodies from the eye were a daily occurrence.
