Santa Monica, Ca

Santa Monica Place features luxury shopping and dining just blocks from the iconic Santa Monica Pier, Beach, and Third Street Promenade which sees over seven million visitors per year.I started as an entry level security officer and quickly climbed the ranks to the position of head security supervisor.My duties included creating deployments of security officers as well as incident response and prioritization. I gave loading dock, corridor, and roof access tours to the Santa Monica Police Department's SWAT team and lead security meetings relating to bomb threats, medical emergencies, and active shooter training.

Worked as a foot patrol security officer in a high risk environment located in Pacoima, a crime heavy neighborhood in Los Angeles. Responded to numerous calls relating to gang activity and issued citations to individuals violating community regulations.

Greater Los Angeles Area

Gained knowledge on fire safety, hydrants, hoses, sprinklers and truck/engine inventory before being certified to respond to emergency calls. Once certified, responded to various medical emergencies as well as fires and was given the duty of 'laying the line' on fire incidents which supplies firefighters with water from fire hydrants.Cadet with LAFD Task Force 11 (Westlake and MacArthur Park).
