Current• Performed comprehensive financial and strategic analysis pre- and post-acquisitions across a variety of industries• Supported investment team in due diligence and investment decision by providing guidance on modelling assumptions, assessment on investment targets and valuation• Developed analytical processes and templates to track portfolio companies’ performance and fund outlook on a monthly basis (currently $5.5+Bn invested in ~30 portfolio companies, with estimated combined revenue of $35+Bn and EBITDA of $4+Bn). Established a platform and rhythm for TPG partners to discuss resource allocation and necessary next steps• Coordinated and worked closely with different parties on quarterly valuation update as well as annual budget setting and review of portfolio companies, and using those data to generate performance and fund outlook for senior partners and investors • Implemented best-in-class financial planning and analytical tools to support portfolio companies in putting together detailed budgets, forecasts and management reports• Prepared presentations on market/business update and communicated regularly with investors, press and overseas colleagues on latest development• Worked with portfolio companies on financial analysis & reporting upgrade, operational improvements, and project management to create tangible value• Oversaw and led various initiatives in 2013, which resulted in US$1.5m of additional cost recovery and ~US$1mm per year in cost savings
