Managed QMS and inspection for machined metal parts production of an OEM. Inspection included first articles, in process, vendor parts, and final inspections. Used DCC and manual CMMs running CMM Manager, wide range of hand tools, height gages, and optical comparator. Managed tool inventory checkout, calibration, and purchasing. Tracked performance metrics. Created inspection plans for parts. Designed experiments, took measurements, analyzed data, and reported results for improved quality and cost in standard product lines. Revised Quality Manual and managed audit activities.While there I achieved several ASQ certifications including Manager (CMQ/OE), Auditor (CQA), Process Analyst (CQPA), and Technician (CQT). I used the lean manufacturing techniques I learned to improve product quality and team performance. My strengths were data analysis and presentation in Pareto Charts, Control Charts, and Flow Charts in particular.
