I specialize in the evidenced based application of minimally invasive procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of many causes of pain. My experience crosses all aspects of pain management, and I have a special interest in advanced interventions for neck and low back pain, spinal cord stimulation, augmentation in vertebral compression fractures, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, and a variety of other chronic and cancer pain states. I am also well versed in facial pain and interventional strategies in various types of headaches. My goal for each and every patient is to compassionately improve their functioning through the elimination or control of pain.I am Double Board certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology . I attended Medical School at The University of Texas Medical School in Houston. My Residency in Anesthesiology was obtained from The University of Texas MedicalSchool in Houston. I also completed a Fellowship in Pain Management at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. I have deep relationships with many well-known and established surgeons, pain psychologists and physical therapists throughout the state of Texas.My approach to pain management is one that utilizes interventinoal techniques, physical medicine and focused rehabilitation, as opposed to opioid therapies. My therapies are tailored to each individual and their personal goals and lifestyle.
