"The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." -Mark Twain I am a firm believer that everyone has a purpose, but it is up to ourselves to achieve it. I began my journey by enrolling into South Carolina State University in 2007. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2011. During my time at South Carolina State I was very involved in the community. I spent countless hours volunteering at schools in the surrounding areas. I also participated in a few can food drives, campus clean up, and highway clean up to name a few. After completion of my undergraduate degree I moved to Jacksonville, FL where I began working with the Internal Revenue Service as a CSR. My job duties involved helping customers with their taxes and balance due. I worked at this position for almost a year before deciding to return to South Carolina State University to purse a masters in a Counselor Education. I enrolled into South Carolina State graduate program in 2012 and completed my program as December 13, 2014. I am certified to work with K-12. I enjoy helping others and working with kids. I feel like my purpose is to help others. Despite everyone telling not to leave my job and little encouragement, I pursued my dreams and I am making them a reality.
