Perseverance.That's what my life story has been about. Since I was a child, I've had to overcome obstacles that most would quit on. From being severely underweight as a child, to having my house burn down in second grade, to having one of the worst cases of eczema any physician in my state had ever seen, overcoming adversity is all I know. These hindrances, in fact, have helped me become who I am today.Through all the troublesome moments, I've found my passion in life: helping others. Helping others brought me joy in those dark moments. Helping others led me to volunteer in the children's services at my local church. It led me to sign up as a camp counselor in high school. It led me to strive for leadership positions while attending college.My time at Quinnipiac University has allowed me to continue my passion. Being of service to others is something I enjoy doing, and aim to make it my life's work, as I seek to receive my Masters in Cybersecurity and joining the federal workforce.
