More than 30 years of private /public sector, managment and executive level responsibility in fields of economic, community, workforce, and organization development; emergency management and disaster preparedness. Ten years dedicated to defining and developing the nation's preparedness as part of the National Preparedness Directorate of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Senior staff responsible for the development of the National Preparedness Goal, 37 capabilities and more than 4500 tasks required to prevent, protect against respond to, mitigate and recover from all hazards. Led the development of the Voluntary Private Sector Preparedness Accreditation and Certification Program (PS-Prep). The Program includes standards that will equip decision makers with key processes to improve their organization's ability to maintain operations during and after an emergency or disaster. Currently leading the expansion and integration of technical assistance to support emergency plannng and disaster preparedness for the Nation including threat assessment, capability development and support for the National Preparedness System i.e. National Incident Management System (NIMS), National Response Framework (NRF) and associated doctrine.
