With 8 1/2 years of service, I served aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln (Aircraft Carrier CNV-72) as a Technician, Operator, Supervisor, and Mentor for the training, operations, and maintenance of electrical equipment ranging from 4160V/8000KW AC power generation to 10VDC circuitry.I also served as an Instructor for the Basic Electricity and Electronics course taught to all Nuclear Electrician's Mates and Electronics Technicians at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command in which we incorporated fast paced and individual based discussion and active learning/teaching styles to deliver well educated operators to the fleet aboard our Aircraft Carriers and Submarine force.
