The Senior Project Lead is responsible for creating, managing and implementing youth programs. In addition to creating strategic collaborations both in the public and the private sector. • Create programs and strategies to further goals and mission of the department. This includes implementing individualized service and support plans, providing meaningful in-service/professional educational and leadership experiences, completing an evaluation of programs and developing programs for new activities. • Work collaboratively with elected officials, government entities and funders regarding program deliverables, initiatives and desired outcomes• To provide administrative support, authorization and decision making for CUL’s Youth Workforce Development Services programs.• To ensure adherence to written policies and procedures governing the operation CUL’s Youth Workforce Development Services programs.• To promote effective communication channels among Youth Workforce Development Services programs and other CUL departments.• To regularly inspect/visit all CUL program sites and be knowledgeable of CUL’s Youth Workforce Development Services programs.• Develops relationships with community-based, faith-based and social service organizations within the community to further collaborative initiatives.• Monitor the overall successes of youth workforce programs and program participants.• Analyze situations accurately and adopt effective courses of action; selecting, assigning, directing, and evaluating the performance of support staff; overseeing youth training programs. • Provide internal leadership in workforce and professional development efforts by providing subject matter expertise to the CUL service community and effectively supervise youth activities and projects aimed at meeting the needs of the youth and young adult job seekers.
