About Marcus O'Brien
I am currently working as a bioinformatician in Seqbiome, performing analysis on genomic, 16s and metagenomic data. I have always had a passion for biology and science in general and hope to develop my career further. I have worked in a variety of wet and dry laboratory settings, both as a student and intern. These projects include studying algae, Listeria monocytogenes and Parkinson's disease. I believe that the wide breadth of skills I have acquired in these diverse environments will serve me greatly in my future endeavors. I hope to continue to learn and grow my passion into a career.
