His screen printed artwork and lithographs are sold in many shops around the UK and Europe. Marcus currently spends his time working from his studio and print workshop in Gloucestershire and his design studio in London.

Marcus Walters is an award-winning designer and illustrator based in the UK. Since graduating from Central St Martin’s, London he has art-directed magazines co-founded an innovative design studio, New Future Graphic, launched fashion and homeware brands, and created arresting imagery for some of the biggest brands in the world.Marcus is known for his dynamic graphic style and colourful optimism. His illustration work traverses many mediums from hand lettering, drawing, and paper cutting to sharp vector iconography. Marcus’s image-making is complemented by his art direction and design work which adheres to three basic principles: Creative, Enduring, and Precise.

In House is a homewares brand created by Marcus and Hayley Walters. Their designs embrace a traditional analogue aesthetic - the artwork is created by hand then combined using the silkscreen process. The brand was born from a desire to experiment and collaborate - each collection is designed and hand printed at their studio in Gloucestershire, enabling the freedom to analyse and assess at each stage.Marcus has used his many years of experience at New Future Graphic to bring his own product to market. His responsibilities span from the brand creation, packaging, research and product development and all marketing materials. Over the past few years, Marcus and Hayley have worked jointly on a wide range of projects from artwork editions for the V&A Museum to textile prints for private commissions.

I worked as a freelance Art Director for several magazines including the TATE magazine, The Illustrated Ape, GQ Magazine and 19 Magazine. I was responsible for several redesigns and launches for IPC Media and Hearst magazines.

I joined Company Magazine as a junior designer after an internship and quickly established myself as a dependable asset to a busy art department. My love for art direction, typography and concise layout combined with creative problem solving and technical know-how. During my time at Company magazine I was promoted several times and held the position of acting Art Director. I won both two PPA awards for Magazine Designer of the Year and the overall PPA award - the first designer to ever win this accolade.
