Electronic Technician
CurrentDiagnose electrical or mechanical malfunction of any numerically controlled or electronic controlled production equipment. Repair or recommend corrective action to be taken by other maintenance group. Assist maintenance supervisor in the training of maintenance personnel. Plan preventative maintenance program. Required to work with machine tool manufacturer’s service personnel to install and maintain new equipment or modify present equipment. Occasionally required to do work of a higher level as a means of preparing for advancement. Occasionally required to do work of a lower skill, as workload requires.
