Further developing my extensive experience in cranes. I joined Concord Cranes which is the 2nd largest mobile crane operator in Southern Africa, Concord cranes have over 180 mobile cranes, 400 staff, spread over 13 branches in South Africa as well as companies in Botswana, Namibia and Mozambique. As the CEO I have full oversight over all business aspects. My primary involvement is strategy development and rolling out.

Elcon is a mobile crane hire company based in KwaZulu-Natal. This role allowed me to Oversee to all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission. In 2011 I facilitated a part equity sale to Investec Bank. Which then enabled a merger with another South African based crane company, Anglo V3. Anglo V3 expanded In 2013 the entity then bought another Port Elizabeth based crane hire company and went on to open another branch in Namibia.

I was initially headhunted to come across to an internal sales role, but within 6 months I was promoted to external sales, and then into a position of looking after key account clients. Where I worked and helped to grow the company by finding leads, closing sales, supporting existing clients, formulating sales strategies, and communicating product value to clients.

My primary function was to capture vessel bookings for clients, bookings were received electronically but the majority was conducted telephonically. I developed some key relationships which lead to an increase in container growth on their account. The role involved dealing with external clients and coordinating the necessary internal departments.
