Upon the completion of my summer internship hours I became a paid student law clerk from the 2018-2020 school year. I worked in the criminal appeals section where I conducted legal research and prepared memos on various constitutional and statutory law issues.In my time at the office I contributed to a "statement of facts" portion of a brief that the SCOTUS decided in the spring 2020. I also reviewed numerous appellate briefs and motions checking citations and readability of arguments.

While working as a police officer I worked in the patrol division and in a specialized division, the tactical unit. My areas of interest were violent crimes, narcotics, domestic violence, and property crimes. While working in the tactical unit I worked plain-clothes investigations. I have extensive experience in writing probable cause statements for arrest warrants and search warrants (auto, home, cell phones) and familiarity with obtaining subpoenas from the district attorney's office to advance criminal investigations.Throughout my time on the department I testified in numerous court proceedings. Those court proceedings included trials and hearings (administrative and criminal) involving numerous murder cases, narcotics offenses, property crimes, and minor traffic violations. I also conducted numerous seizures (cash and auto).
