As an Investment Analyst at AON, I was responsible for conducting financial research, analyzing market trends, and providing insightsto support investment decision-making. I collaborated with a team to assess investment opportunities, prepare investment reports, and make recommendations to clients based on their financial objectives and risk tolerance. As well as calls with clients to enhance our customer service and make the best customer experience that is possible.

During this time, I worked as an intern in the Actuarial Department of IPSI (Irish Progressive Services International) which is now under the FNZ group. During my time as an intern in IPSI, I have been able to develop a greater understanding and insight into not only the large amount of work that goes into running an international company such as IPSI, but also gather the experience into what life is like in the working world, something that will be so relevant to me for the rest of my life. Over my time I was working in the Life Insurance sector of IPSI. My internship allowed me to gain an understanding of a product which I never would have dealt with before in life.

The A&F soc is the largest student society in DCU. Over my time as chairperson I got to experience so much. I organised the largest events in DCU, including a Irish bus tour, a European Mystery Tour (which we flew 100 students to Barcelona for 5 days), the A&F Ball (the largest student ball in DCU with nearly 1000 students) and many academic grinds and talks.
