I grew up in Long Island New York while maintaining deep roots in Jamaica. Working as a steamfitter for over 19 years, I was able to find time in between working at the top of NYC skyscrapers including the amazing and historic Freedom Tower to explore his passion.Before and during that career, following in his father's footsteps, I took it upon himself to never stop learning. I've immersed myself in cooking classes, cook books and spent nights awake just chopping hundreds of onions until he got it right. He eventually found himself in the private chef arena and catering, continuously growing my passion and experience for food.With nutrition and wellness always at the forefront, Marcus believes that your body follows your mind, if you believe you can’t eat healthy, prevent disease, or even cook, your body owns that knowledge. I have worked to dispel stereotypes, step out of comfort zones and advocate that every person on this planet deserves the knowledge of how to help themselves through good food.I am a graduate of The Institute of Transformational Nutrition as a Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach and Life Coach. My mission is to bring everyone back to the dinner table where the healing that comes from breaking bread with loved ones can never be matched.
