As IS Manager you are in charge of the Research Department. My department consisted of 5 local researchers. The work involves a wide range of responsibilities most notably: setting the strategy and goals for the department along with budgeting, professional development of the research team, managing the day to day research and overall research support to consulting teams. As we work in a global setting, interaction with a wide range of geographic counterparts in expert areas is demanded in this highly competitive environment. Driving internal performance improvement projects as well as Regional/ Local vendor negotiations is also part of the job.

Sweden

A Senior Research Analyst aids the consulting teams with primary and secondary research as well as analysis and presentation material for our clients. Tasks include interviewing industry experts, associations, distilling data from market reports/ public data as well as presenting specific findings to teams and clients.

As Project Manager I was in charge of pitching projects, market research and drawing conclusions using the firm's analytical approach as well as presenting results to clients. As side tasks I also handled contacts with the press, managing events and publishing administration.

Jönköping / Stockholm

During my studies I started my own business on the side in which I worked for several clients. The major project I ran was "Aqua Studentkompetens". My role here was to lead the organisation of 3 junior Project Managers and in addition to this I was in charge of selling projects/ responding to company requests involving students from Jönköping University. This job involved selling, managing students, engaging with clients and following up on projects as well as budgeting and marketing of the overall organisation.
