Marcus Hill is a senior finance major attending Howard University. His career aspiration to become a financial analyst stems from the fact that growing up he rarely saw any representation of himself in the financial sector. This motivated him even more to pursue a career in the finance industry so that he could be the role model he always wanted, but never had growing up.Passionate about entrepreneurship, Marcus plans to use his sewing abilities to own a tailoring shop where he plans to customize suits for businessmen and women that gives them the perfect fit while also planning to give back to the community by developing a community center in his hometown Chicago, IL.Marcus also won a stock-pitch competition in his finance training program that focused on Target as well as gained an immense amount of experience as a rotational intern at IG US. He plans to use the skills he acquired to create his own business and advance his career in the financial industry.Overall, Marcus is a responsible and ambitious student looking to obtain a full-time/rotational program offer post-grad. that will allow him to fully utilize his math and communication abilities while also increasing his knowledge and skills within the financial sector.
