As a trained mechanical engineer, as well as philologist in Chinese Language (and subsequently English teacher in China) I know that one core skill to have, is problem solving. Wherever I went and whatever I did, solving problems became my second nature. This turned out to be extremely handy when I moved into IT, working for different software companies as Partner Recruiter and Manager. Problem solving becomes even more feasible the more data you have. And that is why I am now transitioning into the realm of data science.I am a results-oriented professional, moving to Data Science after more than 10 years in IT Partner Management and Sales. I am proficient in communication, I build and maintain relationships and strategic partnerships, efficiently. I live life-long learning and therefore continued my education into Data Science. I gained expertise in analytics and visualisation, machine learning models and data engineering. I am eager to combine my knowledge of the IT business with my Data Science skills to develop impactful strategies to benefit the business.I enjoy coding in Python to solve problems may it be through setting up ETL Pipelines into the AWS Cloud or training machine learning models with SciKit-Learn to predict future stock market prices, or even real estate prices.
