Managed logistics for all goods and personnel transported to offshore drilling rigs legally, safely, cost efficiently and off the critical path to ensure zero interruptions to operations. Tracked daily operating costs averaging between $900k to $1.5M for reporting to executives and operating partners. Oversaw all inbound and outbound shipments to rig sites ranging from 100-3,500 tons to $1-4M per shipment. Managed 20 different service contractors to ensure timely operations.

Performed account management activities and developed a presence at client sites with upper level management, engineers, contractors and field personnel to strengthen client relationships. Analyzed business trends and market fluctuations to cultivate growth strategies for existing and potential customer accounts. Planned and fulfilled sales forecasts and budgets to ensure proper pricing execution. Managed accounts totaling 80knts of carbon flat roll business producing $100M of annual revenue.

Consistently purchased 8K tons with profits of more than $400K monthly for a period of over 15 months. Negotiated pricing with supplier for various metal grades (ferrous and non-ferrous) along with freight rates for trucking, barge and rail from various vendors. Tracked and presented current market pricing and forecasted future pricing to accounting, operations, and executive committees.
