About Marcus L. Kearns
At the center of human communication, one element prevails over the rest. Stories. Storytelling is our greatest asset in marketing, journalism, and teaching. We use stories to connect to one another and bridge the gaps between humanity. I’m a recent graduate from St. Edward’s University and an alumnus of Interlochen Arts Academy. I’ve dedicated my academic career to the study of writing in its many forms and mastering how I can use writing to tell stories that help people. Through the study of rhetoric, I want to leverage storytelling by utilizing the creative craft of writing alongside the quantitative research that informs the industry. Persuasion and rhetoric often get a bad reputation, but they are also some of the most powerful tools we have to create change in the minds of those around us.
