In my role at Sabre, I successfully transitioned my expertise from Citi to lead the development of Sabre's component-driven design system as a proof of concept in Sketch. I played a critical role in facilitating the company's transition from Sketch to Figma and was appointed as one of two Figma Admins for all locations. I engineered a comprehensive component library in Figma, enhancing Sabre’s existing design language to better represent the system within the design process. My battle for best practice involved three years of navigating significant challenges (five years including my time at Citi), and many hours demonstrating to leadership, culminating in quite impactful achievements. I had the opportunity to train a small team of designers, guiding them in shaping the current version 2.0. Mentorship was a vital part of my role, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Additionally, I contributed to optimizing our design operations and processes, collaborating closely with developers and product owners to ensure successful product outcomes. This component library has been utilized across 200+ products and projects within the company.

More importantly, I created Citi's first POC for a component-driven design system within Sketch, as well as the first official version of the component library for use across New York and Dallas offices.
