◊ Recruit, source, identify, screen, process and retain, nurses and other healthcare professionals.◊ Facilitate hiring, retention as well as process by entering and maintaining payroll action memorandums, posting positions, evaluating, documenting in Resumix, setting up one on one, group, panel, walk in and telephone manager interviews, outcomes & follow up. ◊ Verify professional licenses, educational degrees employment and employment references. Assist in administration of pre-employment screening typing tests, Word, Excel & Power Point. ◊ Coordinate recruitment advertisement campaigns: data bases, news papers, internet, career fairs, direct mail, and journals.◊ Implement the latest recruitment strategy, goals and policies of JHS with departments & sites.◊ Oversaw design and development of JHS marketing materials: brochures, and give-a-ways.◊ Conduct student & RN internship recruitment and coordinate educational components. ◊ Provide external customer service including schools & universities, advertising agency assisting with development, vendors by creating the purchase requisitions, ordering, logistics & inventory as well as attending health care/H. R. related events & activities.◊ Maintain internal employee relationships by regularly meeting with employees, managers, & directors.◊ Assisted with logistics of: Employee Satisfaction workshops, Employee Referral Program, acquisition of Jackson North Medical Center & management training for Recruitment.◊ Tracked & maintained records of JHS employees and relatives who participated in annual JHS sponsored nursing scholarship program and conducted Kaplan course registration.
