Have 26 years in the mining business, where I learned everything to do with mining and maintenance. I started out of high school as a laborer, then equipment i.e., Trucks, front end loaders, excavators and dozers. I went on to the Maintenace aspect of the industry where I gained experience in crushers, conveyors, and screens. I went to the University of South Carolina Geology Dept. for aggregate testing and erosion control. Q.C. was the next step in my career where i gained intimate knowledge of different test procedures and mix ratios. For couple of years i mined coal in Virginia using a coal auger. From there i took a position being a Superintendent of a limestone operation truly a bottom to top experience which in my belief made me a more rounded miner and made me who I am today.
