As a park ranger, I monitor the entire Grosse Pointe Woods Lake Front Park to ensure that all areas in the park are safe, and uphold to park standards. I oversee the Activities Building by opening and closing the facility, and discipline any patrons that are not abiding by park regulations. I am also the main emergency responder to any issues that arise in the park while on duty.

I hold positions as a Senior Guard, Head Guard, and Supervisor for the team of lifeguards at the Lake Front Park. I am the primary and/or secondary responder for any emergencies that arise for patrons at the pool. I maintain the pool on a chemical aspect to create a safe and swimmable environment, and oversee all pool activities, such as swim lessons, water aerobics, and swim team. I assist with managing a large staff of lifeguards by instructing lifeguard training courses, documenting incidents, creating schedules for the lifeguards, on the hour, and maintain employee records.

During my time at Universal McCann, I learned the basics of company operations, customer support, and technical services on a professional level over the course of two separate internships (September 2013 - December 2013 and November 2015 - January 2016).
