Over my course of work and schooling, I have had the opportunity to pick up many skills and experiences. I have been interning and planning events for the Leadership and Service Programs for over a year now. I have had the opportunity to be the student director and plan a major event that Tarleton State students attend called Alternative Spring Break. This event is a five day trip where students become better student leaders while giving back to communities that have lost more than bearable. During my internship, I also was in charge of many local community service events ranging from walking dogs for the Erath County Humane Society to helping paint houses for elders. I was also given the position to help organize and plan the Leadership and Service Awards. I joined FarmHouse Fraternity in 2018 and quickly ran with leadership positions soon after initiated. When I first joined, we were the smallest fraternity and a few years later, we are one of the top ranked fraternities on this campus. I went from being a new member to the Assistant Director of Philanthropy to President. The only time where I did not have a leadership position was when I was a new member. While I was philanthropy chair, I hosted many events, the biggest being an event called FarmFest. This event consisted of a silent auction, live music, concession, and a segment what we called Baldacious. This is where the men of the fraternity will shave their hair off in order to raise money and awareness for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.After graduation in 2020, I landed a job with Bang Energy Drinks on their Fuel Team. This is a marketing position that allows me to keep building connections and networking with coworkers and customers around the nation. During my time at Bang Energy, I was given the opportunity to work for the PGA of America for the PGA Championship 2022. I gained much experience in day-to-day operations. My role was an operations assistant, where I worked with vendors, cart distribution, wind-screening, and other tasks to get the course and Championship ready.
