Marc has served the leadership positions throughout his career. Currently serving as an ALC member of the KW Ballantyne Office, and the #1 Team in the #1 Office in the World. Previously he served as an instructor for the High Country Association over ten years, the Board of Directors of both the Association and the Multiple Listing Service as MLS Chairperson from 2008-2012, and served as President & Past President from 2012-2013.On the state level, he served over 30,000 members as the Chairperson for the NCAR Information Management Committee, as co-director of the Education Committee for the State Convention, and has served the state association on the Strategic Planning team and the North Carolinas Real Estate Commission Advisory Group for Membership.Marc has obtained several designations and awards, including the distinguished REALTOR of the YEAR award, the NCAR Rising Star award, the GREEN Council for REALTORS, and he is a Graduate of the NC REALTORS Leadership Academy, a distinguished group from one of the top associations in the United States.While accomplishing all of this, Marc stays active in the local community serving at his church in numerous capacities; serving as a Leader in the BigKids service at his church & an Adult LifeGroup Leader, and serving organizations at Appalachian State University.Marc continues to work with youth at his church for over 18 years, in various capacities. He graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters in Christian Education. He moved back to Duluth, GA, where he worked as a Youth Minister, before returning to Boone, and then back to his birthplace in Charlotte.Marc's wife, Melissa, is a working mother; and helps raise their children, Annabelle and Noah.
