The Mississippi Watershed Management Organization works to protect and improve water quality, habitat and natural resources in an urban watershed that drains directly into the Mississippi River. I had the opportunity to help partners implement projects, and I specialize in working through barriers to get to construction. In this urban watershed, I was able to bring green infrastructure design and maintenance expertise to projects, as well as supporting community-based partners through grant applications and awards. I love to connect the dots between projects and partners. I want my work to help increase community capacity for environmental health that will ultimately help support the health of the community.

Project Manager and designer for projects ranging in scale from large scale residential development planning to detailed landscape design for small sites. Focus on sustainability and stormwater management in the urban landscape, with emphasis on native plant material. Organized and efficient, experience in facilitating community input and programming the landscape to suit various needs. Registered Landscape Architect in Minnesota and an ISA Certified Arborist.

Primary responsibilities in residential and commercial planning and subdivision approval. Preparing concept plans, designing landscape plans and site amenities, working to preserve natural features on project sites. Experience in preliminary plat submissions, code and ordinance analysis, and creation of construction documents. Research and training to meet current trends in graphic communications. Creating computer-aided and hand-drawn graphics including base mapping, plans, sections, photo imagery and presentation materials.
