WHAT I DOCurrently, I work as a freelancer in the Circular Economy and Sustainability space. The projects I am busy with include, among others, Circular Economy and sustainability research with a focus on policies, workshop facilitation and project support in various circular economy projects.HOW I DO ITMy main goal during my career is to learn as much as possible. I studied part-time if I did not learn enough in my day job. Living by this motto, I obtained a BCom in Economics and a master's in Industrial Engineering while working. In my day-to-day job, I pride myself on delivering high-quality work. I believe communication and accuracy are key to being a successful consultant. Everything I do, I do with a process map, and most probably excel as well ;)WHY I DO ITI believe South Africa is the perfect location for an Industrial Engineer; we live in one of the most beautiful countries. Still, the reality is that we have numerous problems ranging from unemployment and poverty to a struggling business environment. Thus, the perfect location for a problem solver. WHO AM II am a problem solver. I have tried different positions in my career and always felt there should be more to "working" until I found myself in the Circular Economy and Sustainability industry, and I can not be happier. I love my job, but I live for travelling and experiencing different foods, people and anything interesting in different countries—one of my favourite things to do while travelling is scavenging supermarkets for new and interesting products.
