Maree Thompson Makeup Artistry is a mobile makeup services How it all started..After leaving the Beauty Salons full time, I knew I wanted to inspire and see the future therapist make a difference in their fields, I became a Trainer and Assessor with completing my TAE back in 2014.Since then I have been able to teach, inspire and mentor as well as pass on my knowledge and skills to my students whom I had the pleasure in teaching and delivering courses to in Both Western Australia as well as Queensland.After upskilling with my diploma of screen and media in specialised makeup service's, re ignited my passion for the arts. Stepping away from the classroom, "full time", I still teach/train part time with also relief coverage.I have embarked on a journey of creative passion using makeup as my chosen medium, brining to life characters for the screen for may various roles.To be able to play with colour is a magical experience ,and to transform and ide in to a real life matter is one of great pleasure.I have been able to work alongside many creative people with in our industry and be part of wonderful teams bring to life the scripts that have been written.As they say if you if what you do, you will never work another day in your life, and I love what I do.(I still teach/ train too, as its ok to have more than one passion right? Plus I also love being the classroom teaching and inspiring the next artists)Now the boring but necessary stuff.Experienced and passionate HMUA, (hair and makeup artists) with strong leadership skills, Skilled in Pitching Ideas, Beauty Industry experience within salons and teaching students with in RTOs in both Perth WA and QLD.Leadership & Development skills mastered from over 20+ years in the Scouting Movement in both NZ and Perth WA - AUS. Strong education professional with standards and ethics who knows how to get the best from her students to achieve their goals and see the results they want with completing the certificates they have undertaken.Diploma in Screen and Media - Specialist Makeup Services studied & graduated from Huxley's School of Makeup Gold Coast QLD in partnership with TAFE QLD 2020Certificate IV in Training and Assessment gained in 2014 - with upgrades completed into the TAE as per training package her in Australia.Diploma’s in Beauty Therapy & Advanced Beauty Therapy studied & graduated with Distinction at Aoraki Polytechnic Christchurch New Zealand. 2007 & 2008Certificate 4 in Nail Technology studied & graduated in 2005 - with National School of Aesthetics Christchurch New Zealand
