About Maree Mccabe Am

I am an experienced Chief Executive Officer and NED with a demonstrated history working in both for profit and non-profit organisations in mental health and aged care with a focus on dementia. As the CEO at Dementia Australia, the national peak body and charity for people living with Dementia achievements included global leadership in the development of technology ie apps, AI and education tools that have made a profound and lasting difference to the lives of people living with dementia. Also achieved a $200m allocation for dementia care and in 2024 $12.5m for support for people impacted by Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE).My strengths are in leadership, team building, strategic planning, business development, governance and government relations. I am a member of a number of Boards and advisory committees in Australia and internationally and regularly speak at national and international conferences and in the media.
