Service Corporation International is an American provider of funeral goods and services as well as cemetery property and services.; Provides HR support for 13 SCI locations within the Bay Area region. Most recently worked alongside senior and IT management to facilitate a company­wide deployment of Workday, the cloud­based payroll and time­tracking software tool. This project included streamlining employee programs such as facilitated computer training courses that insured employee readiness for self­time tracking for the Bay Area market. Key Responsibilities: ● Maintain sensitive and confidential situations and documentation ● Work alongside professionals to to conduct HR transactions that include new hire processing, promotions, demotions, transfers and other transactions ● Inducts all new hires and provides thorough overview of policies, insurance and benefits ● Oversee all payroll processes including updates and adjustments on computer software applications o Utilize Workday and PeopleSoft for 350 plus employees on a biweekly schedule, reviewed time cards for compliance of state and federal requirement. ● Act as an liaison for administration of employee benefit programs and workers’ compensation
