Child Care Director
CurrentThe Childcare Director manages the branch childcare programs, including 1/2 day pre-school, babysitting room, family programs and school age childcare. This includes staff and budget management, program and service development and oversight with customer retention as a primary goal. Principal duties include: 1. Develop annual operating objectives and plan for the Childcare Department. Monitor the achievement of these objectives, taking appropriate action to ensure they are met. 2. Develop, monitor and administer annual budget (income and expense) for the Department. 3. Manage all staff and volunteers – recruit, hire, train, develop, supervise and evaluate. 4 Plan, develop, implement and evaluate a full range of childcare programs and services, including a needs analysis of new programs, development, marketing and implementation. 5. Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
