Research areas: youth resilience in armed conflicts, participatory goverance in refugee public health programs, data management in disasters and teaching community and systems level care community health in hybrid/online environments. Rebuilt system to collect data about community based activities of the State PHNs.Built the analysis as a set of 6 logic model based analysis plus a general analysis. This allowed tracking of time and effort spent by program area, and by place, and also fed information back for evaluation of the strategic area logic models of the Section.Developed the analysis and audit system for the Medicaid claims tracking of the Section.Allowing evaluate of time usage within the Section.In process of combing this data in a cross-analysis with individual patient care and community event data to develop a clearer picture of PHN time usage across levels of interventions.Developed a new system of audits for individual patient care focusing the full nursing care of the client. Including developing a system that allowed for audits across more than 20 locations, some remote, and coordinating across clinics with different levels of nursing services. Focus on full care process required audit style that allowed auditing of care delivered over months (to years).Analysis for each audit built and linked to previous audit and documentation to increases ability to monitor care over time.Audits in STI, and TB currently, well child care and family planning are in development.Developed several databases for in-house use; referral and times study audits; and incident tracking.Consulted with multiple local projects to assist in developing QI skills in all levels of staff to address issues ranging from local administrative processes to Section-wide nursing processes.Supported staff transitions to these new systems with webinars, phone support and in-person coaching, and documentation for systems that include directions, how-to, history, rationale and when appropriate screen-shots and step-by-step guides. Developed data management documentation for all analyses and systems developed for future reference.

• In consultation with multiple staff and administrators, developed a set of options for data and evaluation issues of the organization• Lead for instituting their chosen plan including training a wide range and variety of local staff in handling their own project data and evaluation needs, and developing a core team of staff to continue training and consultation with projects• Taught multiple medical faculty research and epidemiological study principles• Assisted medical staff in developing analysis of their research projects including war associated gender-based violence, high risk births, HIV treatment in children, hypertension, and congenital /early onset ricketts treatment in children.Organization overviewRegional hospital and health care system with projects in several Providences including a referral hospital specializing in orthopedic care and post-rape and fistula care. Community services included variety of programs for gender-based violence, peace-building, HIV/AIDS prevention and care, maternal-mortality prevention and community-development. Organization operates in a low resource setting, with significant challenges from civil disturbances, continuing rebel clashes, infrastructure fragility, and remote areas.

Individual patient care for children needing 6 or more hours of direct nursing home care a day. Included working with children in home and school settings.
