Provide strategic leadership for capital planning for the nation’s largest federally qualified health center network, with 45 health center locations. Oversee all facilities, including planning, design and construction projects as well as new health center acquisitions, and mergers. Lead real estate strategy, including leasing, subleasing and co-location approaches with private retailers, public health entities and service providers. Created standards for health care environments, including health center renovations, Joint Commission accreditation, and facility maintenance. Oversee a team of 6 direct reports, and manage 15 vendors who provide critical professional and support services.

Led integrative planning efforts to design three multi-million dollar construction projects, featuring state-of-the-art design that maximizes operational efficiencies and flexibility. Managed design process from concept through completion. Managed budget and construction schedules. Developed approach and structure for move-in process to new buildings. Managed and coordinated patient and equipment move-in to new facilities, including mock moves, operations and sequencing. Implemented a process improvement program to maintain patient and staff satisfaction. Coordinated special events and speaking engagements related to new construction, including grand opening celebrations, donor recognition events, and faculty and staff open houses.
