Development and implementation of the Freedom Fund Hotspot Programme in the Amazon to prevent and reduce slave labour combined with actions to combat illegal deforestation.

Main responsibilities include:• Represent Laudes Foundation on the Grantmaking Committee of Labora fund (Funded by the Laudes Foundation, Open Society Foundations and Ford Foundation and managed by the Brazil Fund for Human Rights);• Lead the transition of the Laudes Foundation's work in Brazil to the Labora fund;• Support the initial activities of Labora fund.

Responsible for the strategy development and implementation (grantmaking) for the Labour Rights programme in Brazil, reporting directly to the global senior programme manager and managing an analyst.• Contributed to the development of the five-year strategic plan of the Labour Rights programme in an integrated manner with other Laudes programmes, leading a broad process of consultation to partners, specialists and key stakeholders.• Established relationships with key stakeholders in the field of human rights and defense of socio-environmental rights, enabling a robust pipeline of partnerships.• Enabled the approval of BRL 23.5 million in support of CSOs and projects, to ensure workers' social protection, develop incentives for accountability and promote collective actions for workers.• Managed a diversified portfolio (20 partnerships), continuously monitoring and evaluating project results with flexibility and based on trust-based relationships, which has enabled shared learning (funder and grantee) and route adjustments.• Promoted the connection between partners (grantees) and actors capable of promoting systemic changes in the field of socio-environmental rights, including with other funders and networks.• Facilitated dialogue between programmes, partners and the labour field and socio-environmental rights, bringing together leaders, promoting discussion on the necessary systemic changes and what can be done to catalyze and implement these changes.• Proactively contributed to a learning dynamic within the foundation by researching, analyzing and sharing relevant insights with the team.• Led the Laudes Foundation exit strategy in Brazil, through institutional strengthening of partners and the creation of a EUR 8,5 Million fund (in partnership with OSF and Ford Foundation) to strengthen the labor movement in Brazil.

Responsible for managing the Sustainable Raw Materials and Circular Economy programmes in Brazil, reporting to the regional director and the global heads of both programmes, and managing an analyst.• I actively participated in the development of global strategies for both programmes, resulting in their implementation for 5 years in 9 countries.• Promoted open dialogue channels, sought opportunities for listening and building with partners and multistakeholder groups in order to contextualize the strategies of both programmes in Brazil.• Established relationships with key stakeholders in the field of agroecology, sustainability standards, circular economy and impact investing, enabling a robust pipeline of partnerships.• Enabled the approval of 11 partners, totaling BRL 8.2 million and more than 5,000 families benefited in 7 Brazilian states, resulting in increased production of organic cotton and thus impacting fashion supply chains.• Managed the programmes' annual budget (on average BRL 2 million/year) and a diversified portfolio (total 13 grants), continuously monitoring and evaluating project results.• Established connections between the Sustainable Raw Materials programme and C&A's sustainability platform, resulting in a complementary performance and synergy with the business.• Led the development of the expansion plan for Fashion for Good in Brazil (acceleration of impact business in circular fashion) through a collaborative process that involved the participation of approx. 20 orgs.• Acted as a representative and technical expert in relevant governance bodies and forums to build the Institute's credibility and leadership.• Participated in the elaboration and monitoring of institutional and programmatic annual planning.• Led initiatives to incorporate gender justice into supported projects.• Participated in internal movements (local and global) to improve M&E requirements and the grantmaking cycle.
