When you think of CPAs you probably think about boring people looking at spreadsheets. It's my job to help you see their amazing skills and abilities and to break them out of that stereotype. The trick is to do it without being boring in the process. I'll admit some of the things I have been able to pull off amaze even me. CPAs dressed as Safari Guides? An entire booth devoted to Comic Book Superheroes as CPAs? Mailing pairs of socks to potential clients with our logo stitched in them? Yes, it is possible to push the level of creativity to market CPAs to other businesses. It's worth all of the hard work to see clients discovering the personalities of our staff and choosing our firm for their audit and tax needs. It has been my pleasure to work in many areas in my Firm, including all aspects of Firm marketing, event planning, website design, booth design, tactile marketing, HR and recruiting, employee training, and wellness. All of these responsibilities require flexibility, accessibility, and creativity. Usually my job doesn't feel like work. I have said on many an occasion, "I can't believe I get paid to do this." It's true. My teammates like to work with me because I bring an element of fun to everything I do. From funny video clips in staff meeting to a staff newsletter full of candid photos from our 3 offices, my unique perspective helps my Firm grow by showing that business is not only spreadsheets but also about building relationships, both with clients and fellow employees, on a personal level. My goals are to help the team at Larson & Company be productive and enjoy the process of relationship building in a variety of ways. Above all, I love helping clients find our Firm and experience the high level of service Larson & Company is known for.
