Managed classifed and certified staff, managed all federally funded programs to include Special Education, NCLB Federal programs, TAG, Section 504, & technology. Provided annual reviews for staff, hired staff, worked with the school board, secured grants for projects, managed several budgets totaling over $500k, ensured compliance with state and federal laws, worked with parents, students and staff, provided educational training and supports for all programs.

Worked at Student Services level providing supports to over 50 LRC teachers district wide with monthly training and supports, provided 13 schools with onsite support with paperwork, IEP meetings and providing skills training to staff, as well as working with parents through difficult situations.

Taught grades K-5 students with disabilities, ensured compliance with over 75 IEP's each year, supervised two educational assistants, created and individualized programs for all students, managed new referrals, move in students and students that moved away. Collaborated with regular education teachers to support transitions of all students with special needs.

Casemanaged and taught students with disablities ages three through five years old. Worked on a evaluation team to complete the child find obligation, evaluating children who were referred and determining eligiblities. Tailored instruction to meet individual student needs and disabilities and coordinated team efforts working with Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists among many other team players. Wrote and implemented Individualized Family Service plans to support both families and students.
