Alongside fellow community leaders, organizers, and members, I co-lead and organize bi-,monthly hikes for fat people dedicated to body liberation and accessibility to natural areas. We are a growing community group that is taking up space on trails that heal our souls and bring us together. #TrailsNotScalesI am one of the behind-the-scenes folks in this organization who manages our group's Instagram account, helps make connections with other fat leaders and organizations in the area, and initiates calendar planning for our regular events. We typically have 15-20 attendees at our events, and we continue to meet new folks who are seeking friendship, community, joyful movement, and nature connection.

I supervised, trained, and evaluated 5 naturalist educators in their daily nature-based camp programs, as well as, coordinated and led campfire building, safety, and program trainings for camp staff. I also collaborated with the Wilderness Supervisor Team and whole-camp Supervisor Team for daily meetings, group problem-solving, program scheduling, and emergency plan preparations and drills.

Cultivated vegetables for the community on approximately 1 acre of land; tended to goats, chickens, worms, and bees; supported other local sustainable agriculture endeavors such as a school garden at Malcolm X Elementary; participated in workshops about nonviolent communication, permaculture practices, and social justice.
