From About, Perfect Pets... "The driving force behind Perfect Pets is Maria Arnold - a wildlife conservationist and animal lover. Maria's work as a primate conservationist in Uganda and Congo taught her that despite the effective efforts of dedicated groups and organisations, the work of saving threatened species and habitats is all too often hindered by unreliable and inadequate funding. Maria decided to return to Australia to dedicate her professional skills and abilities to raising funding for animal welfare and conservation projects. Her efforts so far have helped raise funds for chimpanzee conservation projects in Africa, the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society, and the Australian Bush Heritage Fund.Perfect Pets is Maria's latest effort to help support carefully selected groups and organisations with revenue generated by the sites memberships and advertising. It is also hoped that Perfect Pets will help raise awareness about welfare issues relating to pets and other domesticated animals.Perfect Pets is part of the Fully Stoked Company which was established in 2004. Fully Stoked has a diversified business model with revenues coming from online business ventures as well as web development and marketing.
