Hello!I graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelors of Science in Applied Science with a major in Exercise Science. I had an amazing experience at Youngstown State where I was able to make connections with professors and fellow colleagues. It deepened my interpersonal skills, communication skills and knowledge. I am currently working at The Christ Hospital as an Exercise Physiologist in their Inpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation department. I provide professional exercise guidance for cardio and pulmonary patients. Where we begin working with them within the first 24-48 hours after their procedure. I provide cardio/pulmonary education and explain risk factors to help enhance their quality of life. I too am responsible for explaining the preoperative to cardio/ pulmonary patients. I am BLS certified and further ACLS, VAD and diabetes aware. My previous job I worked with Maple Tree Cancer Alliance as an exercise oncologist instructor, helping patients diagnosed with cancer regain endurance, strength and mobility. I gained extensive experience and experiential learning as I strategize, facilitate, and prescribe exercise for my patients. I was fortunate enough to have been able to provide relief and happiness to my patients lives, and hope to continue implementing recommendations in the future.
