Planning, recruiting and managing specialist contingent staff on Behalf of 4 major HP contracts: BP, Amex, Black and Veatch and BP Oil to ensure the optimum skills for each project/account.• Manage 50+ contingent workers across client accounts owning the end-to-end management of staff recruitment, deployment and contracts acting as a conduit between HP and client• Work closely with hiring managers, stakeholders and procurement teams to ensure best value in recruitment and effective talent attraction strategies• Advertising internally, on job boards and with agencies in attracting the suitable candidates • Review CV’s, shortlist and conduct initial screening interviews and coordinate with the hiring managers in arranging technical interviews• Use SmartLabor - Field Glass tool for creating and tracking new / existing contingent workers in managing time-sheets / expenses and funding requirements for the term of the contracts• Use global HR management system for on-boarding new staff, to ordering credentials, laptops, mobiles and ensuring records conform to UK employment law.• Managing recruitment queries from contingent workers, hiring managers and stakeholders • Track budget and billing of contingent workers on a monthly basic, ensuring overtime and travel are controlled

Leading the two year closure of a major EDS data centre at Stockley Park, this included the complex project management of migration and controlled de-commissioning of 160 client networks. Acting as key client contact between a team of project managers, I ensured the smooth migration and decommissioning with zero impact on live networks.I managed the decommissioning of the data centre 1 month in advance of the target - saving nearly $1m USD. All work was carried out within client’s change programme specifications and often included operating out of hours and at weekends. Problem solving any issues, I successfully mitigated risk to live production environments.

I was responsible for installing and managing client networks and the day-to-day activities and operations of the large EDS 24/7 data centre at Stockley Park. This included ensuring adequate power supply for installations in addition to installing and integrating hardware, cables, routers and switchers ready for handover to client for configuration.As the main point of contact for engineers and network providers, I made sure all security processes and procedures were adhered to. I managed the complete installation of 250 servers and network cabling for major client. I also created an MS SharePoint solution to record all telecoms related assets and circuits.After a major outage for the Department of Work and Pensions system, I successfully resolved the problem bringing in a 3rd party specialist support and working over a weekend.

Providing commercial support to EDS account teams, I translated business requirements into technical solutions to supply WAN services to clients across the UK. Working between client and technical teams, I created network design solutions, quotations and identified all business processes, systems and product requirements.Ensuring all hardware and orders met client requirements, I achieved all target dates in dealing with any problems and escalations and provided accurate invoicing, billing and management reports.

Managing the video conferencing and voice services across the UK and Europe, I made sure all technical hardware and software operated effectively for clients. In the early years of this technology, I ensured robust connectivity and communications for up to 25 different sites.Processing client requests and managing the availability of video conferencing services, I also provided 1st line support for client issues, investigating and finding solutions with escalation if required to a satisfactory resolution.
