Experienced at checking prescriptions for appropriate dosing and experience at resolving issues by contacting prescriber whenever incompatibilities or overdoses/ under doses are identified. Able to use Clinical Pharmacology and Facts and Comparison to make clinical decisions on medication appropriateness prior to dispensing. Familiar with simple compound techniques. For example grinding to reduce partial size and geometric dilution. Trained and license to give immunizations. Experienced at administering adult vaccinations as allowed under state and federal law. Trained at performing blood pressure checks. Responsible for checking blood pressure, counseling patients on results which may include the initiation of lifestyle modifications and/or contacting primary care physician for follow up and medication initiation whenever readings are above normal. Responsible for Medication Therapeutic Management (MTM). Familiar with Outcomes and Mirixa . Experienced at submitting claims upon review of patient's profile also experienced at performing comprehensive medical reviews under MTM. Responsible for counseling patients on new drug therapies in person and over the phone by performing new to therapy calls. Familiar with Medicare.gov. Able to perform Medicare review sessions by explaining the availability, costs and benefits of various plans to Medicare eligible patients.
