As a remote site monitor (in-house CRA), I performed clinical trial monitoring tasks in accordance with ICH GCP guidelines and FDA/local regulations. I also helped ensure clinical trial data integrity and patient safety by reviewing study data from various sources remotely and by directly communicating with study sites to aid with timely resolution of issues. I am experienced with safety and data stewardship of 14+ North American clinical sites for two Phase I/II, first-in-human ImmTAC oncology trials.

As a global project manager, I served as a liaison between two large pharmaceutical companies and Covance Central Lab Services (now Labcorp). I provided project management oversight for a total of 21 global phase I, II, and III clinical trials with major focus on budget and risk assessment as well as management of key milestones and deliverables from a central lab perspective.

In my role as MESE, I oversaw the development, scheduling, and management of the Emergency Department web-based classroom training for scribes nationwide. This includes directing a team of Emergency Department Virtual Classroom Training Instructors for their full life-cycle (hiring, training, and ongoing quality assurance). I also supported the Assistant Director and Senior Director of Scribe Education as well as the Director of Emergency Scribe Services in developing and instating process improvements and new program initiatives.

As a Virtual Classroom Training Instructor, I was tasked with the great responsibility of properly educating new scribes from all across the country. The training classes I taught were fast paced and essentially a crash course in medical terminology, emergency department pathophysiology, medical decision making, and more. I relied heavily on the experience that I gained starting off as an ED scribe as well as the medical knowledge I gained during my time as a project leader in order to make my classes engaging and applicable to trainees.

As a Project Leader for ScribeAmerica, I had the great opportunity to work closely with physician administrators and certified medical professionals to implement various outpatient scribe programs and ED scribe programs located in Northern NJ, Jackson/Gallipolis, OH, San Francisco, CA, and Vista CA. I have experience in several specialties including: emergency medicine, adult primary care, family medicine, cardiology, orthopedic with focus on hip/knee replacements, urology oncology, general urology, ophthalmology with focus on general ophthalmology, oculoplastics, and corneal diseases. I also acquired experience in navigating, charting, and entering pending orders with several EMR systems including ambulatory EPIC, NextGen, Aprima, Greenway Prime Suite, and McKesson Paragon. This position also encompassed responsibilities of a chief scribe when working on an active implementation. The position of project leader also involved analyzing clinic workflows in order to determine how best to integrate scribe services and increase general efficiency of the clinic overall. After concluding implementation of a brand new scribe program, I continued to remotely oversee the chief scribe (local manager). Together, we worked as a team to ensure quality and stability of scribe services for clients. As a project leader, I was also responsible for sending out monthly reports to clients as well as completing Return on Investment data analyses of the scribe programs that I implemented.

As a JPL for ScribeAmerica, I was responsible for hiring and training a brand new medical staff for an adult primary care site in Ridgefield Park, NJ. This position also encompassed the responsibilities of a chief scribe.I was promoted to Project Leader after the conclusion of my first scribe program implementation.

As the local manager of the ED Scribe Program, I accomplished the following:• Hired and extensively trained new scribes with curriculum involving a crash course in medical terminology and pathophysiology of common diseases encountered in the ED, as well as training in the EMR program, Cerner• Evaluated and ensured improvements in the performance of current scribes• Prepared the monthly emergency department scribe schedule• Ensured that time cards were up to date• Prepared Chief Scribe Monthly Reports to update the head emergency physician and Project Leader of the progress of the Scribe America program at Saint Mary’s Hospital• Additionally fulfilled duties of an ED scribe• Promoted to Junior Project Leader September 2014

I started off with ScribeAmerica in an entry level position of ED Scribe. As an ED scribe, I:• Served as a documentation specialist to the Emergency Physician and was responsible for accurate and real-time charting, thereby relieving physicians of clerical duties and enabling them to focus on patient care• Facilitated efficiency and ED work flow through a number of ways such as assisting with navigation through the electronic health record to ensure complete documentation of patients’ past medical history, locating results of laboratory tests and imaging studies, and updating the physician on these results to ensure that patient disposition is occurring in a timely manner• Received the Scribe America Scribe of the Year Award, 2012• Promoted to Chief Scribe May 2013

As an ED Nurse Tech, I provided basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Primary duties and responsibilities included assisting patients with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, skin care, positioning, feeding, ambulation, and toileting. In the ED, I was also tasked with various assignments such as taking vital signs, starting IVs, performing EKGs/point of care urine testing/glucose checks, assisting with procedures such as splints and lumbar punctures, and assisting with CPR.
