I hold a BA (Hons) History of Art, Design and Film, a Post Graduate Diploma in Museum Studies and have extensive experience of working as a curator in the museum sector. I have curated hundreds of exhibitions on British art and two ARTIST ROOMS exhibitions about Andy Warhol and Robert Mapplethorpe. I am now focussing on curating botanical themed exhibitions at the Shirley Sherwood Gallery at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. My experience includes leading curatorial teams in local authority museums, managing a small historic house for the National Trust and the strategic development of two galleries for the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. I am developing my knowledge of botanical art and enjoying the opportunity to work with leading contemporary artists including Rebecca Louise Law, Jan Hendrix, Zadok Ben-David, Mat Collishaw and world famous glass artist Chihuly. I also get to work in one of the world's most beautiful and iconic locations.
