* Researched the extension of graph neural networks with disentangled mechanisms to output interpretable node representations based solely on the graph structure.* Introduced a new heterogeneous graph neural network that showed 2.5% improvement over previous work.* Evaluated the model on the iFood network, a large-scale food delivery service, trying to discover the intent behind users ordering various food dishes. Identified several high-level concepts in isolated instances and devised future courses of action to contribute towards a possible improvement of the model.* The research was conducted using Python and deep learning libraries PyTorch and Tensorflow. The large-scale experiments were managed using Databricks, PySpark and AWS.
