I left the corporate world as an executive in insurance and financial services, to make a bigger difference in through the door of innovation. Maddock Douglas was the right place to do this. In January of 2013, my first book, co-authored with Mike Maddock, was launched. It is called Flirting with the Uninterested; Innovating in a Sold Not Bought Category. Now my mission has expanded to empower like minded leaders in complex industries, to shape their own future versus having it shaped for them. Such industries include risk, finance, health, well-being, lifestyle, and education. All of these, and others, are facing disruption for good reason. they are important to the human condition, and as such, the bar is always being raised. Our team has been on the forefront of creating innovation as a discipline, and as it matures, we continually find new ways for companies to act on the future, restore relevance and find new ways to grow.
