As an innovative leader in supply chain management, sourcing, and procurement, I effectively direct projects, resources, and teams for complex international and local logistics operations. I am known for negotiating advantageous pricing plans and adopting process improvements that enhance overall efficiencies while protecting the quality and timeliness of deliveries. I currently serve as Head of Supply Chain for CARE Bangladesh, a non-profit, humanitarian organization working on women's empowerment; food security; good governance; health; workforce engagement; education; private sector engagement; and climate change globally. As part of this effort, I manage spend for consultancy, software development, construction work, event management, and other projects while sourcing, developing, and managing a deep pool of local and international vendors. Examples of my work include:> Established and continue to lead a Procurement Committee for CARE Bangladesh to manage the Annual Vendor Review process while working to maintain legal document validation and due diligence. > Captured tens of thousands of dollars in savings through skilled negotiations with vendors for donor-funded projects supported by organizations such as USAID, ECHO, EU, Kendeda, DANIDA, WFP, UNFPA, and UNICEF. > Designed procurement strategies across all purchasing channels for raw materials, office suppliers, and technical services in support of a manufacturing operation producing 3.5 million items per year at YKK Bangladesh.> Improved the safety and physical condition of the warehouse at YKK Bangladesh by implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, and issuing work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacements as needed. I have completed extensive professional training in supply chain management, including study with institutions in the US, Germany, and Japan. My credentials include a Supply Chain & Logistics Management Certification, and I am currently pursuing a CIPS Level 4 Certification and completing a Six Sigma Master Black Belt Program.
